Student Training to Decrease Classroom Disruption

 Anger Management Training for Students  - The Anger Management Group is designed to teach students core concepts on how to handle their anger in an appropriate and socially acceptable manner.  They will use discussion, worksheets, homework assignments, role plays and activities to help them to develop the skills that are necessary to successfully manager their anger.  Each group will meet once a week, for an hour for ten (10) weeks.  Call Dacia at 816-767-9460 to talk about how the experts at Second Wind can help you to decrease classroom disruption and increase academic time.   

Peer Mediation Training for Students and/or Staff
Second Wind staff will train students and or staff to be effective Peer Mediators.  This training will positively impact the school environment and allow students to resolve their own conflicts.  Peer Mediation training consists of five (5) sessions - 2-hours each session.  Call Dacia at 816-767-9460 to talk about how the experts at Second Wind can collaborate with yout to create a peaceful environment in your school.

Peer Mediation Training Booster Sessions
After students are trained in Peer Mediation a qualified staff person will meet with students monthly for 1.5 hours to discuss how the Peer Mediations are going and provide support to students as they sharpen their Peer Mediation Skills.  Mediation Services
