TRAINING OPPORTUNITES

I have created a series of workshops that are available for your school professional development meeting, parent meeting or agency wide training.

  • Creating a Resilient Mindset when working with difficult students/clients

  • 5 Proven Best Practices that Help Reduce Attention Seeking Behavior

  • A Strategic Approach: 5 Ways to Stop Defiant Behavior

  • 7 Keys to Motivating Your Child

  • How to Avoid the top 6 Behavior Management Mistakes

  • Core Skills to Reduce Disruptive Behavior

  • 5 Keys to Managing your Stress

As a Behavior Management Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor, I would like to offer these series of workshops for educators, parents and school counselors to address the motivation behind some of the most difficult childhood behavior. Defiance, anger, disrespect, disobedience, misbehavior's that wreak havoc in your home and in your classroom.

BUT, when you understand the motivation behind the misbehavior, you can be more strategic in your parenting and your classroom intervention, thereby transforming your child's behavior.

I want to share with you strategies or with solutions that have worked when I was Director of Day Treatment at a residential treatment facility, they work in my private practice and they will work for you!  Plus, I will share with you my mistakes, so that you can avoid those pitfalls and pot holes.

Participants who have or work with children in grades 4-12 will learn:

  • Keys to manage the topic behavior (see topic schedule below)

  • Handouts to use at home or at school

  • A fresh perspective on the motivation behind the misbehavior

You are valuable to me and I appreciate your help in being part of the solution!!!

     We gotta help these kids!!!
