Happy Father's Day

This Father’s Day, take a moment to reach out. Speak a blessing. Give a hug. Write a note. Pray a prayer to the father in your life.

And if you’re a father yourself—thank you. Your strength is a pillar in this world.

To the dads who pray silently over their children…

To the mentors who lead by example…

To the men holding down households with faith and love...

To the brothers, uncles, grandfathers, and godfathers who show up—every time...

We honor your strength. We see your sacrifice. We celebrate your soul.

To every father, grandfather, mentor, and father figure—you are seen. You are appreciated. You are loved.

And to those who didn’t have the best example of fatherhood, or who are still healing from absence or loss

Some of you don't have a good example of a father figure. Perhaps your father was a womanizer/ cheater, or he just wasn't a nice person. Neglectful, hurtful, angry all the time.

And some of you have deep wounds from the pain of being abandoned by your father. He just turned his back on you as a child and left. That kind of rejection can take a long time to heal.

Others may have been abused by their father. I remember one lady telling me that her father claimed to be a man of God, but he was absolutely horrible to her in every way imaginable.

And still others, have lost their father, whom they loved dearly. Or are widows and grieving the death of the father of their children.

Just like with any holiday, Father's Day can be a mixed bag of emotions.

Father's Day may be very difficult for you. And not only that, but you may also have difficulty connecting with God the Father because your earthly father was such a poor example.

This Father's Day, focus on the unconditional love of God the Father, because He loves you. You may need to spend some time in the Psalms or read a book that can teach you about God the Father's love.

Take some time this Father's Day to get to know the REAL Father of our souls.

And for the single moms who are both mother and father to their children - a big shout out to you for holding it down!!!

No matter what your experience with your earthly father was, YOU matter - and YOUR voice is important - stay the course. The world needs your courage.

  • You may not always hear “thank you.”

  • You may not always feel seen.

  • But your impact runs deep—and your courage changes lives.

You are not crazy. You are not weak. You are human, and God is with you every where you go.

More to come, but until then, may God bless you on your journey.  I'll be right here with you to encourage you!

Blessings,

Dacia.
